old ice trays

I almost threw out about a dozen ice trays, the bottoms were split and wouldnt hold water well.

Instead, Im using them to start more seeds in. My DH thinks Im insane. He says "honey, we can afford more seed trays!" (giggling) But I really didnt *need* any more... Which means now I can spend *those* funds in other gardening material?!?! terrible terrible!!
