dutch iris wedgewood blue

Pickens, SC(Zone 7a)

I wanted to add my iris to the plant files but I dont want to contribute false info. The package was labeled:
Wedgewood Blue -its alot darker than wedgewood so I assume it is a different cultivar than just Wedgewood ?

There are so many cultivars of iris.........Best suggestion is check on your web with American Iris Society.
It could pass for a Louisiana Iris but its best to get its scientific name, culture etc. from the iris experts at the Iris Society.
Thanks for the lovely pic!

Ah-hah! The graceful long stems appearing all around my back pond look suspiciously like these! I think they might be the irises. If so, I have LOTS! Wonderful. Will post back if that's what emerges!

Thanks for the pictures,

Kris

They could be siberian iris Kris.

Hopefully nothing gets damaged in the snow that's supposed to head our way tomorrow! Argh!
