I am thinking of planting some Prunus laurocerasus "schipkanensis" as a privacy screen. Somewhere I heard that it is considered an "invasive" in some parts of the country. I live in Pennsylvania, just North of Philadelphia, in Bucks County. I wouldn't want to plant anything that would be a danger to the local ecology. Does anyone know if it is considered a problem in this area?
Is schip laural invasive?
