Please respond if you know of a source of 'Florida Anise' Illicium floridanum in the northeast Atlanta area.
Lazy K sells them but they are about 100 miles away.

Google for a native nursery in your area. I've seen them at mine (Native Nurseries in Tallahasse) for about $15-20.
Other tip: We're working on a roundup in Jacksonville ... I want this tree too and someone is going to try to root cuttings for me. If you find one, cut a couple branches and see if you can get it to root. Or attend a round up in your area... Or come to ours in Jax!
Have you tried Pike nurseries? They might be able to tell you where to buy it if they don't have it.
