Anybody growing Faradaya splendida?

Spring Valley, CA(Zone 10a)

I just found a source for this vine and it sounds interesting. Is there anybody with experience growing this vine?

I'd never heard of it, so looked it up. Looks and sounds like a great vine, and fragrant, too!
Can you divulge your source? Is it at a nursery there in CA?
I'd love to acquire some, too, now.
You've got my curiosity up!

seedpicker,

It's being offered by Kartuz.

It sounds like you need a lot of room for it, Ron, due to its "vigor." Here's a link I found: http://farrer.csu.edu.au/ASGAP/f-spl.html I went to look for it at Kurtuz's online nursery, but I didn't see it.

I have a Beaumontia grandiflora coming soon that I am looking forward to and someday, when I have more room, would like a Frangipani Vine, Chonemorpha fragrans: http://www.toptropicals.com/cgi-bin/garden_catalog/cat.cgi

Thank you Ron!
I should have known...Kartuz and Logees have all the good stuff...lol...

I actually looked on Kartuz AND Logees, and couldn't find it listed, either.
Are you seeing it in a paper catalog? If so, which year? Is is the 2004 catalog, or the printed 2005?
...can't find it...

seedpicker,

http://www.kartuz.com/

Click on the 2005 Catalog which is underlined and in blue. It's in Word document format. Once it loads, the Faradaya will be right after the Dalechampia in the Vines section.
