Aquarium heater for brewing tea.

Fountain, CO(Zone 5a)

Has anyone use one for brewing tea to speed up the process. I bought a 200 watt heater for my 25 gallon tea brewer. I have the tea brewer in the garage and the temp's are low, plus the water temp is 40 degrees in the brewer. I am going to give this try to see if the process for brewing will take less time than the norm.

Hmmm...never thought of that, TQS. Keep us posted on the outcome, okay?

The temp right now in the brewer is at 73.3 degree's. Tomorrow night (the 23RD) will be 24 hrs. We will see if this speeds up the brewing process.

Will for those interested, using the heater worked. I am going have to find a much bigger heater for my 55 gallon brewer's.

TQ...so did you get some foam brewing?

Hows it look? Or smell? Just curious...what is the temp of the water/tea?

Looks like a root beer float, nice brown color, earthy smell and the temp is at 73 degree's. My 55 gallon brewer's will not be done until this weekend. That soilsoup 25 gallon brewer is nice and handy for small batches and works well. I got the sprayer's ready and will spray everything today.

Root beer float! Hah!! That describes it perfectly!!

Happy growing/gardening!
