Today I 've seen cranes that flew over back to the north..to Evert and Mitjo ..
This is so beautifull to see..so pretty stately birds with huge wings..just wanted to share.

They really are gorgeous saya, I love them.
We are lucky that they overwinter near us (a few thousand that are too lazy to make it over the Pyrenees to Spain). I've been to see them on their feeding grounds - what a wonderful sight!
The noise they make when flying is so hauntingly beautiful!
I think I have some photos somewhere - I'll try and dig them out later :)
