Have any of you been successful with seed from the Blackfoot Daisy germinating. I winter-sowed many seed, and not one has germinated. Any suggetions would be appreciated. I love this plant. It started blooming two weeks ago. Last year, it bloomed through November.
Blackfoot Daisy Germination
Posie4U, you may want to wait awhile if you sowed them in the ground. I think the seed may not germinate until the weatter warms up a tad more ... say consistently in the 80s. caron, on the entry for the plant states the following: "Unlike most others in the Daisy family the inner "disk" flowers are not fertile. Collect seed from the base of the outer ray flowers in the fall".

Thanks, htop.

I am not really sure what this means. It sounds as if I may have collected seed in an incorrect way. What is the "base of the outer ray flowers?"
