this is my first time starting peppers from seeds. The ones that are starting to germinate have a white fuzzy spot. Is this the roots or mold? They all seem to have it even under different domes.

Don't know what you see but if they are beginning to sprout remove the dome and allow air circulation. Other than this , wait and see !!!
bassetts, I don't know what it is, but I'm finding the same on mine and am thinking it's mold... but I just planted them in sterile medium 2 days ago...

I used the peat pots and they got moldy too but it doesn't seem to have bothered the plants themselves.

They seem okay so far. I think it might be the root systems.
