Any hints on starting vigna caracalla seed ?

Soak them till they start to swell, usually three or four days. Be sure and change the water.

This year is the third year I have started these from seed.
I started a thread in January about picking the seedpods green & ripening them indoors.

Here are the basics:
On January 1st I nicked & soaked 8 of them overnight in the hottest tap water I could get, then planted them in moist seed starter mix and set them on my computer monitor where it stays 69 degrees.
On January 5th I had 2 sprout, then each day I have had more and am today up to 6 seedlings.
