XP Crashes

I have a computer that I'm ready to throw out the window..

I'll get a message and it say's something like this.
"were sorry but windows has to close, you may lose data your working on!"
For a while I thought it was happening when I sent pictures. Nope it does it at anytime.
The message say's it's being reported to Microsoft. Yeah right!
Anyone else having this problem?
I did download service pak 2. Thought this was adding to my aggrevation and deleted the program. Noooo, that isn't the problem..

Dell wants me to copy all my info and start from scratch. No, if your a good tech you should be able to solve this. I do know someone that can solve this
but his prices are off the wall.
