I was sifting my compost and saw lots of 1/4inch diameter, yellowish, semi-translucent eggs. Could these be earwig eggs or are they something I shouldn't squish?
Eggs in compost
need pictures... they could be centapede as well?
Thanks for the reply, but it will be awhile before I can do pictures. I thought I was lost in space waiting for someone to reply. Thanks again, Sondra
Rowdy63, I think what you found were slug eggs. And since you live in an area where they are numerous, at least I think Lyle, is on WA coast, I'm pretty sure thats what they are without seeing a picture. If it were me I would smash everyone I could find. DonnaS
DonnaS, Lyle is East of the Cascades, so the only slugs come from potted plants I buy at a nursery, but I do agree with you, Smash Um!! This will be my motto until I am convinced they are good guys. Thanks for the answer. Sondra
