We have pulled and pulled up this stuff but it still comes back. I know its b/c of the extensive root systems. It is LITERALLY taking over two huge beds that I have perennials and bulbs in.
How do I use weed killer w/o killing my plants?
Getting Rid of Sorrel
One method would be to don a nitrile glove and then a cotton one over that.
Dilute you weed killer to the proper strength, dip you gloved hand in the mix and then shake hands (literally, lol) with the weed.
Tedious but keeps the application where you want it.
They do sell wand covers for sprayers that direct the spray to a more precise area.
What weed killer were you thinking of using?
Products containing Dicamba are supposed to be really effecive on sorrel.
Don't know how Glyphosate (Roundup) type products will work.
Caron,
Thank you.
I will go and buy some Dicamba containing products as I only have Roundup.
THANKS AGAIN!!
