New Iris Garden Update.

To recap:

This is how the Iris Garden 2B looked ao 1-3.

Here's my DH slaving away on 1-6.

All done planting. Pic taken 1-15.

Garden has Iris, Paperwhites, Daffodils,
Hyacinths & crocus.

Paperwhites are up & a few Daffodils in
the back are, too. Pic taken 1-25.

BTW. All but 2 Iris are showing growth.

The Paperwhites are just about to start
blooming. Pic taken 1-31.

It's now 2-14. My DH & I have been busy
little beavers!!

The flowers under the swing are Violas.

The Paperwhites are blooming, lots of
Daffodils are up & a few crocus, too.

Here's a close-up of the Paperwhites blooming.

Here's a close-up of the whole garden.

This was taken 2-14 & it's now 2-21. In the
mean-time, more of everything is coming up,
even a couple Hyacinths.

I haven't been able to take any pics since then,
cuz of the rains. It's even raining, now!!

Thanks to modern technology (i.e. digital
cameras), I can take scads of pics to make a
visual record of every little thing!! What fun!!
As soon as the rains let up--Look Out!!

That little Iris Garden area took me mos & mos
just to prepare the soil. Planting everything was
easy --my DH did it!! Lol.

Just so he won't feel useless, I have/will be
buying lots of things to plant in lots of places!!

KE6KAD, you know all that rain is going to transform that garden in to a spring wonderland, and by next year - - even more so!!! :-) Lucky - - lucky you!!

Well, I hope so. Earlier there was moss growing
in the back left hand corner. Now it's a little puddle!!

There are little puddles in other gardens, too.

We might have a few days of no rain, & then more
rain next week. The weather service keeps changing
their forcast. Makes one think that maybe they don't
really know WHAT the weather is going to be!! Lol.

If anything changes, I'll post pics.
