$1,100 for a garden kit! Ouch! But so cool! Couldn't you just find the pieces at the craft shop!?!?! They had a class here a few weeks ago at my local Whole Foods. It was only $20 and was hosted by the Rabbit Shadow Farms here in Loveland. Didn't attend, but they had a nice display! I would put those little mini rice lights in mine, think they would be a nice touch!

Thanks for sharing these everyone,
J

Moab, UT(Zone 6b)

This one is from a little nurserey in Santa Ana that holds classes on which plants to choose and sells the little props. Doesn't mean you can't use 'em to 'borrrow' ideas from. ;)

Moab, UT(Zone 6b)

just what I thought!

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

Now that I could go for . I'm sure the toys don't cost what that garden center wants .
Love the little cabin Blooms. Where would one look for toys like this?
It's been a long time since I looked for that type of toys .
Grands are all boys and are all young men now.

The Woodland Cottage from the Fairy's Garden site is only 295.00

That site is cute the way they tell a story with the merchandise descriptions http://64.224.217.223/index.html

scooter, it's just time to get creative with twigs or popsicle sticks I guess. Or with dowels that you get at hardware store and cut like logs? I have ideas I've never used.

Coshocton, OH(Zone 6a)

i find this last fall on clearance at jo ann's fabrics, a rustic tin cabin (a tea light holder) i am going to put in my mini garden.

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

Those li'l mini-gardens remind me of the "diaramas" that I use to make as a child for some of my school projects! Alright, they probably were not that sophisticated or detailed in nature, but it was along those lines. It was creating a woodland scene in a shoebox! So now, I'll just "kick it up a notch" and move my diarama into my back yard, deck, patio, or anywhere the l'il people will come and spread their magic and fairy dust! :~)

Cape Cod, MA(Zone 7a)

These gardens are so cute I cant stand it! I have to make one!

McGregor, IA(Zone 4b)

Me too! Thanks for all the great ideas!

McGregor, IA(Zone 4b)

I went to the links that I could get to, and wow! that one with the rabbit at liquidskyarts.com - wow!

One idea for cool and cheap accessories is woven willow arbors, fences, furniture, etc.

Found a site for miniplants: www.miniplant kingdom.com in Sebastacol CA. I know there is someone here at DG from that city - maybe we could get her to check it out...

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

Thanks caitlin,
.................I like the site you posted but the link didn't work so I got it for ya.

http://www.miniplantkingdom.com/

A bunch of us at a hypertufa forum (not here) have a new challange for a 'tufa or 'crete gingerbread house type project. I'm gonna make some small ones.

It may just have to be a winter project tho.

Too much to do now. Seems like the hurrier I go , the behinder I get...........lol

(Suppose it would help if I stopped buying plants for awhile, eh ?)

Later, S

hypertufa is a forum here, right? I'll probably stop in and visit sometime...

Know what you mean about the plants....My next challenge is to get enough mulch to cover all of the weeded areas. Hate to just have to do it over and over again....
