Pickens, SC(Zone 7a)

I was looking on ebay for some louisiana or japanese iris for my water gardens. I noticed one fellow had Japanese Iris in his title but when he got to the description part he talked about Siberian Iris Ceasars bro. Is he confused or am I.

Charlotte, you have to be careful ordering on ebay. Some people here at DG know certain sellers on ebay but I don't have that information. Sometimes the ebay ones are misnamed. Generally it's better to buy from the more established Iris houses. Here is Iris City Gardens website in Tennessee. They have a 100% positive rating on the garden watchdog.

Here is the Louisiana iris site. No one at DG has ordered from them.

Here are some lovely pictures of Japanese Iris:

Thank you Doss, I will view those links. Yes, I know that ebay is a place where some plants are misnamed..even if the seller doesnt mean to mislead folks.

Here is another good site - www.bois-darc.com.
I haven't purchased from them but they specialize in louisianas and have a long listing.

They are very famous and well-known within the iris community. Can't go wrong with their plant material .

Picture is one of my LAs, indoor for the winter = of course.
