Midsummer's Day

This is really for the forum where everyone is celebrating Mid-Summer's Day today, because it is actually not till the 24th of June by our calculations in Ireland - 21st June is the mid-year point, but 24th June is Mid-Summer, the magic day!
It is frustrating when I cannot post at the end of a thread and have to go seeking a vacant spot elsewhere - however, it is only a minor thing, I suppose!
All the best to my friends in the U.K. and glad to see you're getting a referendum too, where you can disgrace yourselves :-) just as we did in Ireland! hurrah!

Do you have any special celebrations in your country to celebrate this day? I'd celebrate if we had decent weather! Most of the seeds I planted in May are only up 1 or 2 inches and I'm sitting here in a sweatshirt and cold nose. Doesn't seem like mid summer here!

I live about 40 miles from Stonehenge and they have a druid ceremony there I guess virtually everyone knows about it. Other than that no.
