Brrrr .... this is so scary

Fayette, IA(Zone 4b)

Take a look at this. http://www.viruslist.com/en/weblog - the second entry, "Trojans masquerade as Microsoft AntiSpyware." I might be savvy enough not to fall for the first one when I saw the fractured English on the button "Process with select of protection software." But how about that second one? Doesn't that look real? I get those bubbles when my network connects and disconnects. And I just told my MIL last night if her newly installed AV (Avast) popped up and told her to update anything to go ahead and say yes! AARGH! I know what Avast's popups look like, but she doesn't.

And read on down to "What is Public Isn't Safe."
