a few years ago i saw an article on building a chicken coop with chicken wired enclosures on either side of the shed/coop. the idea was that you let the chickens roam around on one side and the following year that's where you plant your garden while you let the chickens roam around on the other side. the theory is that the chickens fertilize the soil, eat a lot of creepy crawly garden pests, give you fresh eggs and you have a nice crop rotation system. has anyone seen these plans anywhere?
