Here are a few more seedlings for you to see from Mid-America iris Gardens. To see Part 1 - - go to this link: http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/476499/
Again - - I'm sorry, but I do not have the names of the parents of these seedlings.
Here is seedling #11.
New from Mid-America Iris Gardens part 2
Now - - the big question.................... which ones of these would be your #1 and #2 favorite seedlings - - if you were to choose? :-)
I'll start.
My number one choice would be seedling #15,
and my number 2 choice would be (it's a tough choice) seedling # 13.
Margie
# 15 and #16
I just love #12 for #1! The colors are so bright!
#16 for #2. Is there a reason you like #15 best?
#12, #15, #16, #13.
16 and 17
13 and 15
#12 and #16
This is harder than the first batch!
15# next 17#
11, 15, 17, 16
Margie - do your unofficial "polls" go back to Mid-America? Gosh I hope so! It would be great if we were influencing possible introductions. LOL
Hi langbr,
I e-mailed Paul Black and told him what I was doing and sent him the links so he could watch too. I suspect he may be watching - - possibly during the times he (and maybe Tom too) is taking a break from working on and putting together the new Mid-America's 2005 iris catalog. I hope they are influenced some too - - many of Paul's and Tom's irises are the best I've seen and I hope they are introduced. (smiles)
16 then it a toss up between 12,13 & 18.
#12 and #16
opps gotta add 20 the more I look at it.lol.
The question is how much are they.lol.I want some of each.Jody
These are just seedlings at this point Jody, and not yet introduced to the public. Once Paul and Tom decides which ones will be worthy and ready for introduction - then we'll see what they will go for. New Introductions are usually pricely to begin with, but with each passing year (as the plant multiplies and produces more of that variety) the prices go down.
Margie
Darn,Gotta wait.Jody
My choices: 12 and 20, with 13 as runner-up
I sure do hope they choose to keep these. If not, I want to raid their compost pile! lol
stop bye and pick me up first.lol
They are all lovely and some special ones too but these two are 20 and 17 got my vote Margie
12 & 19. Hey folks, I saw a picture of raku blaze, but lost it and it's not in the PlantsFile. Can someone lead me to it? or post a new picture?
Terry,
Is asking for help filling out the plant files right now. There is a contest going on for the very thing your talking about woodspirit1.I'll post as soon as I find the link.Jody

Number 12 & # 13 look wonderful to me. I'm looking for unusual color combos for my spring garden.
#16 hands down for number one, and #12 a second with #15 close on its tail. The colors of 12 are absolutely brilliant.
Neil Mogensen
