I was wondering whether I could drop some clover seed into the lawn to provide forage for animals. Would it compete with and replace the grass, is it invasive, and which species would be best?
Clover as forage?
CaptMicha, I think most people are reluctant to plant clover in the yard immediately adjacent to their house. Especially anyone that uses a weed preventer. However, it all depends on your intended objective. That being said, here is a web site that may be helpful in regard to clover species.
