Hyper-tufa...the way to go with alpines

St. John's, NL(Zone 5b)

For anyone who would like an alpine garden but have limited space, hyper-tufa is the way to go. I made my first ones two years ago and never looked back. With the right plants, they can look good all year long. This pot was photographed in early September so no blooms but plant forms are attractive in themselves.
