Constant Trojan Horse Security Alerts....

Hello Everyone

Every time I log onto the internet with this new computer I eventually receive a security alert that someone attempted to access my computer through a trojan horse. Is this really happening or what? I never had issues with this type of stuff on my oldly moldy computer. What can I do? I feel violated.
