Wow! Gorgeous John!!! That's a historic for sure and not a modern variety. Laurie or Wanda would be your "experts" but my guess is that they are going to say it's hard to ID from a photo.

That is a very beautiful old iris. I love the historics with velvet textured falls. langbr is correct. It is impossible to positively ID an iris from a photo ... even a very lovely photo like yours. Very sweet of you, i am gonna dig into my old catalogs out of my childhood, i must have them somewhere. There is small chance 0.5% that i find these back. I am gonna check the url's you posted too.
