I have a client who saw this at the local botanical garden and wants one. As far as I can tell, it's not a variety, but an area in Japan where they grow, or a Cryptomeria that has been purned a certain way. Anybody have more info on this?
Thanks,
Susan
Cryptomeria katyama?
Oops- misspelled it- Kitayama. I can't figure out how to edit the heading.
This nursery carries it. You may want to contact them.

Thanks- I'll e-mail them. I appreciate the help!
Thanks again for the lead. It turns out Kitayama is a variety similar to 'Yoshino', supposedly better winter color and hardier. It's not very available on the East Coast.
