Old vinyl lps - Does any1 have info on which 1s are valuable

Mother-in-law has moved to assisted living and the kids are cleaning out her house.... She has tons of old vinyl LP's stored in several closets and in the basement. The kids are going to toss them, I don't collect them but know that some can be worth a few dollars. Does anyone know a website with a price guide ? Does anyone have any suggestions should they just be tossed....? What else can you do with 100+ vinyl lps and no record player ?
