Sorry to hear that, did you pick it or wait for it to fall off the vine?
Did it feel like it had any weight to it?
One of mine feels heavy and the other one feels awlful light.
Good luck with your other fruit.

Darn! Sorry about that. That happens sometimes.

I picked it... the color was starting to go reddish and it's getting cold here, so I figured I would chance it. The other fruit is still bright green, but larger and heavier, so hopefully it'll mature even with the lower temperatures.

It is a disappointment if you wanted seeds, but WOW! Wouldn't that be a PLUS!, if you were marketing them for just fresh eating??!
I love to eat passionfruits, but don't like eating the seeds with it!
You may just HAVE something, there!!! lol...

That's weird looking, almost like the yolk is missing! :-)

I've had that same problem on many of my Passie's. I have a bunch of Caerulea fruit I picked, several were empty. 1 had only 1 seed and the most I've found in the same kind is maybe 15. Very odd, I've never seen such large fruit with only a few seeds. Usually I find them full or empty, this is the 1st year I've seen them like this but it's also my 1st year with many varieties. My incarnata does it though and I've had her for many years. I don't get it myself but am very happy to get any seeds at all.
