Repeat from last year-tip on new pine cones

I picked up some un-open pine cones and some open; tucked them in a Zip-lock and then the microwave for a minute or so-just in case;;;; a gazillion bugs came out-I re-did the process. The little pines opened up well and I let them dry outside-without all the bugs..will be doing that again this year.
Just a tip to share..
