I have a very large building with cement block sides and panels on roof. I call it my atrium.A lot of light comes in but NO shadows. To my amazment some plants do very well. Brugs are 15ft plus and hundreds of blooms. However, I want to propagate seedlings and cuttings this winter.
Im wondering if Agritape Heat Mats and Super Sun 1000 HPS lighting would work ????
Ihave a large gas heater in there. What should I set the room temp at.??
As you can tell, Ive never had experience with indoor gardening !! Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Propagation mats and lighting help please.
Using the heat mats will sure save you some expense on fuel for heat. 'Tis easier to heat your flats of soil to a rooting temperature than it is to heat all the air space in your "atrium" to that same temp.
In the winter, most months, I just heat our g-house to 50 º (at nite).
