Is this possible with candylilies?

Brookeville, MD(Zone 7a)

I started some candy lily seeds last fall and potted them up when they got a little bigger and never got around to planting them, so they've been really root bound in a shallow pot. And now one has buds! They're less than a year old. Everything I've read says it'll take about 3 years from seed.

I grew some candy lilies many years ago and I believe they bloomed at about 18 months of age...so I guess it could be possible. Hope you get some pretty colors, mine were all orange or yellow.

Hopefully they'll look like Teresa's pic. http://www.tsflowers.com/html/pardancanda.html
