Big Computer Problem

I woke up the other morning and the monitor on my business computer was off with a tiny light flashing on the unit. (I had left system on at night) The CPU was still running so I did a ctl/alt/del twice to shut it down.

I assumed the monitor had died since it had been fading some recently. So I went and bought a flat panel and when I brought it home and hooked it up, I turned on the puter and it would not complete loading the "windows" but would just turn itself off. I tried it 3 or 4 times and it did the same thing all times.

Is there any good news here?

(I do have a call out to my computer man but he's been very busy and has not come over yet.)
