I think it's a New Guinea Impatien, that's what the leaves look like to me. Cathy

That sounds right - do you think it will give me a little life over wintering or should I just chuck it? I love the leaves and coloring, hate to say good-bye!

I'm not sure, I have never wintered one over, but don't let that stop you, I have a several coleus that I'm going to try and overwinter this year. New Guinea's are beautiful, give it a try. Maybe someone will come along and let us know if they had success wintering them over. Cathy

Thanks - one of my neighbors wa throwing it away and it looked entirely too pretty to die - so it's in the sunroom! Worst case scenario - it gets a stay of execution!
