Long time no see, darius.
The plant is Hakonechloa macra .I'll turn yellowish in late autumn.

Thank you ,rose318, for your encouraging words. I also thank you for
letting me know the more appropriate name for it.
This holder is extremely easy to build, but its effects are dramatic!
Just have a try.

Tomtom...thanks for sharing the directions for the plant stand. I will be using this idea next summer in my garden. Your plants are beautiful.

Hi debcooper53,

Thank you for your comment.
Just have a try, I insist. And you'll surely be satisfied with its effect.
You can produce more natural atmosphere if you use
branches instead of stakes.

Tomtom.

Can someone translate the cm. into inches please. Beautiful plants.

Yonkers, NY(Zone 5b)

Here ya go:

6 Centimeters = 2.36220 Inches --- just a smidgen ove 2"

90 Centimeters = 35.43300 Inches --- just short of 3 feet (1 yard)

This site is helpful for converting just about anything:

2pugdogs the plant has been in the container for three years.
The stands are secure, still I use vinyl containers to place on them just in case.

handhelpers, yes ,thick branckes are nice to give more natural tastes.
You might also display these stands in combination.
Just have a look at such a pic.
The flowers on the stands are Silene.
