a special English Ivy

I was at the Western NC Aboreteum and saw a small, slightly wrinkly English Ivy. It was climbing up a rough concrete wall very well. It would suit an area I have with the same kind of wall. Does anyone know which one this is? I know it's not "Itsy-bitsy" because it was not chartreuse.......
