Mexican Flame Vine indoors?

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

I picked up 2 Mexican Flame Vines this year in July on clearance at the nursery and they are only just now really starting to bloom. Both are about 30" tall. Can I pot these up and take them indoors over winter? I have a sunny South Window. I'm really enjoying them and would like to put them back outside next year and hopefully they will have time to grow taller.

Yep, they'll do fine.

Awesome question Lincolnitess! I have one I recieved in trade earlier this summer.....and a rooted cutting from it as well.
Thanks for asking the question......
And thanks seedpicker for answering :-)

They are very drought tolerant. I would think that they should do fine. Just don't water them too much.

I grow mine through an aloe.

Rwhiz-
That looks really nice! It really helps soften the "rough edges".

Lincolnitiess-
mine always bloomed better indoors than they did outside, for some reason...
They are very easy to root from cuttings.

Thanks! After seeing the 2 great photos I know I'm going to bring mine in. So far I've only had a few blooms. Can't wait to see it when it is bigger.
