My DH wants to buy a car that was shipped from the US to Berlin. When the owners learned how expensive it was to get the car ready to stay in Germay they decided to sell it and send it back to the US. It's gone through customs, etc. The price is right for us, a real bargain, but we are trying to find someone in Berlin who would go to the loading dock and make sure there's a real car in this crate.
With all the scams in the world we can't be to use. My husband could fly there and check it out but all he wants to know is - is the car in the box. He would pay $100 US for someone to go and check it out and take a picture of the crate & as much of the car as possible.
If you know anyone willing to do this for us please let me know.

Kathy, do you know which shipping line it is going on?
then send that line and ask them,
the people who sold you the car have to have a bill of lading for you to be able to clear it from customs, you will also need a bill of sale or something like that. who is paying for the shipping?
has it shipped yet?
