Blue Sky Vine

Wewahitchka, FL(Zone 8b)

Does anyone know another name for the blue sky vine?
Do you know if you can root cuttings or if you have to get some of the root?
I'm trying to root some. Just wondered if it would be possible.

Thunbergia Grandiflora ?

Do you have one close to the ground? If so you can alway try to ground root it. If it is a large vine, why not give it a try with cutting.

If you do manage to root it, would you be interested in trading some rooted cuttings for something else? I've been looking EVERYWHERE for this!

judith,
I certainly will, if I am blessed enough to get them to root.

Hi Cazique,

I'm after thunbergia grandiflora as well, so keep me in mind. However, as I live in Europe, seed might be easier (if it ever sets some).

I have never been able to germnate seeds. I find what I think are seeds, but nothing, trying all different ways.
Anyway, I will send seeds. Maybe you can do it.Hope so.
It isn't blooming yet. Mine is late blooming

New growth will not root. It has to be older growth. It will root, just takes time. You might try layering like a clematis vine also.
