Does your Zimmerlinde mean Sparmannia africana?
Baa, All I know from my mom is that it is an indoor house tree. Has like maple leaves form and in light green in colourand might bloom small white flowers. That's all she knows.

Yes Baa, Zimmerlinde is Sparmannia africana. My mother was German and loved them too. We had a big shrub growing in our garden.
Baa is right, Paridise, go to Google and look up Sparmannia africana, it will give you information about African Linden
