In an effort to squelch the rumors flying around the state, please be informed that there is NO GAS RATIONING going on in Florida at this time. What happened is that the governor signed an executive order giving the state the power to ration gas and direct where gas supplies go first in order to make sure that emergency workers have adequate supplies. This news has given rise to a slew of rumors and myths. I work for the state of Florida and have already had calls concerning this matter. This morning on the WC they said that down in the Keys where they are (mostly) out of gas , some peeps were pumping deisel fuel into ther gas burners. The station owners have locked the diesel pumps .
That's all they need is some clown breaking down , which prob would happen within the hour, on one of those skinny 2 lane verrrrry long bridges in an evacuation situation.
. I love driving to the Keys and the traffic can be bad enough on a normal week-day.
