Tree Bark problem...

I've got alot of 10 yr old trees and notice at the bottom of them they have been whipped alittle. Which I've placed the white plastic wrap. Now, is there anything you can suggest to place at the base of larger trees. Yes, I've told the man who whipps to stay further away but now....
