Oh my goodness, your son put a lot of love into that plant (or something). In case others can't read it, that scale says One pound and One-half ounce!!!
My son planted a pumpkin, but despite everything we did, the squash bugs ate it down :(
My other son planted some watermelon, but they aren't doing so great either...
Congrats to you and your son for a fine vegetable, will he enter it in a fair anywhere?

Tamara, he should have, but didn't and would you beleive that his Peppers and Tomatoes are planted along an old railroad line on his property and it is mostly cinders.
everyone take a look at this pepper again!
