Growing Ligustrums from Liners

This is my first season attempting to grow 600 ligustrums from liners. I am in zone 8a - South Al. Common problems that I have encounter are fire blight, nematodes, and blackspot. I also have 400 var. pitt. Is anyone having similiar problems?
