Have a Bag of Apricots

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

Now what do I do with them?

I want to use half of it to make a cobbler, but it's too hot to bake, so need to freeze them.

The other half I want to make some of that Apricot/Pineapple Jam, using a can of pineapple.

Need a recipe for that, as well as a CLUE for what to do to freeze/preserve these. Do they need to be skinned? How?

I have never done fruit.
