Sowing Clematis Seeds question

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

Anyone know the proper method of doing this? Is there cold stratification necessary? I heard it takes over a year for them the germinate.

Hi Karrie,

hope this link helps:

I have grown some clematis species successfully (montana, serratifolia, and others with very complicate names LOL) from seeds and it did not take too long for them to germinate.

Thanks Ursula! That is an awesome website! I've saved it to my favorites, in my gardening file.
