Source for MINI hostas?

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6a)

Hi,I think the creeping thyme, as Paulgrow suggested would be good under mini hostas, a few people on the gardenweb have recommended mini hostas for a sloped area around a small birdbath/pond. I never knew they even existed until I asked the question so I am looking forward to trying them in my location but I can't find any at local nurseries. Does anyone know of a source in or near Cincinnati, OH or a mailorder nursery that sells mini hostas? Thanks for your response

You might try Shady Oaks Nursery in Waseca MN. www.shadyoaks.com They have a large selection of hostas and other shade perennials. They also have a very nice free print catalog. I have purchased from them and found their stock to be very good. Good luck

Mine came from:
http://www.singletree.com/

They happen to be local to my area, but most of their business is mail order. I have visited there, and their stock is very healthy and well-tended.

Here's another site with great pics: www.hostahills.com Its a nice place to visit and tell Bevie hi for me

Dan,
Bevie's HostaHills website has closed down. She says she's going to build it again over the winter and re-launch it later. I miss it!

Really good sources for hosta: Naylor Creek, Northern Grown Perennials, Plant Delights and Klehm's Song Sparrow. They are all online and send beauuuuutiful hostas!
