One of my favorites too. I grow more each year.

I love to mix it with Dill ............. the combination of the aroma of the dill and the bright red flowers is great.

For me in my zone 5 the strawberry fields reseeds, so be careful when you're weeding your garden and you'll probably have lots of volunteers.

So by gomphrena do you also mean globe amaranth? I planted purple gnome globe amaranth this year but I assumed it would not set seed and was sterile. Will it reseed?

yes i beleive it is globe amaranth one of the same. You can collect seed. It is an annual, not all the seed on the head will produce though
