Pandora Vine Seeds

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

I harvested 2 pods today off of a pandora vine. How do i germinate them?
I'm glad i caught them before the wind scattered them. The pods were brown and had just cracked open.
Thanks
Jen

Anybody?

Hi Jenn,
I can tell you what I did, but I am notoriously bad with "tissue paper" seeds like these. So if you get a better suggestion, use it. LOL
Lightly cover with soil & keep moist. Thats it. Pandorea seeds are the only papery seeds that advice has worked on for me.

I have also germinated them on a damp paper towel & then after germination planted them, but they rarely survive that way for me.

Good luck & I hope someone that has better success with these can answer.

Thanks Donna. I'll try both ways, one with each pod.
Thanks again

Pudgy, your way worked for me. Pandorea seeds germinate best when fresh so Jen's should come up good. If the seeds are more than a couple of weeks old, they need to be soaked over night before planting.

That way worked for me too, and I got lots of seedlings. I even just sowed some on the surface of peaty potting soil and misted daily, and they germinated fine. I even got a few variegated ones from seed. Here is one I grew from seed:
