Does anyone have a recipe for homemade pickling spice? The shelves of all of our local and chain type grocery stores in a 30 mile radius have been completely empty of pickling spice for the past two weeks and won't be restocking anytime soon. The managers of two of the major chains said that the distribution centers don't have any left in stock. Is there a contest with a multi-million dollar prize for the best dill pickle going on that I don't know about??? I have some impatient cukes waiting on the vine. :o) Thanks in advance, Carol
