Not as many as last year, but doing okay.
hows your grapes?
I have an unamed grapevine in Castro Valley CA. We had plenty of grapes last year, tough skins, watery. This year, 3 grape clusters, shrunk, and then nothing, plant appears healthy otherwise.
I dont think we have had enough rain for much of a crop. I have half the grapes as last year, but they seem to be doing okay.
did you cut them back?
what I do to mine is when they flower, pour tons and tons of water to them... well I do that to all of my fruit trees...
ely..
I did cut them back. I believe they did not get enough water. This spring was extremely dry. Well, I will know what to do different next year.
I have four Concords, one across the glasshouse roof, inside, and the other three scattered on arbors throughout the garden...I give them a dose of liquid Kelp and that encourages production of fruit! Yes, they do need enough water in the beginning of the season, as a boost!
