wisteria

Newport News, VA(Zone 7a)

planted seeds, anyone have any
pictures of wisteria seedlings?
first year gardening from seeds,
I've got a two page list of things
NOT to do next time....lol
The puppy removed all my markers and
I can't decided if it's weeds or seeds.
thanks deller

Deller, the leaves pretty much look the same on seedlings as they do on full grown plants. Depending upon which wisteria you have, check the pictures at this link: http://plantsdatabase.com/search.php?search_text=wisteria

thanks clare. I've heard it
takes along time to grow wisteria
from seeds. Mine is so small
It really has no character yet...
so I will leave it be.....
I planted seeds all all four
corners of the house and garage,
I'm hoping at least one out of
four survive....lol

Deller, I bet all four will survive. Wisterias are pretty hardy and tough. They can also be very heavy when they are mature so down the road you will want to build them a strong metal support so that they don't lean on your house and garage. They can do damage if left unpruned and unmonitored.

how long have you had it!
Is that wisteria, or have you
got a mix of delightful things

Thanks, Deller, for the compliments. We just got that arbor last April from Big Lots. Those are two wisterias, trained as standards, leaning on each side of the arbor and growing in containers. I also have some other wisterias in containers at the bottom of the arbor and growing up it. I've had my tree wisterias a couple of years. Here is a picture of my Japanese wisteria "Honibeni," taken last year:
